Responsibilities






Peraton is seeking Cryptologic Cyber Planner, Senior to support an Intel Community (IC) mission in Ft. Meade, MD, San Antonio, TX and Ft. Gordon, GA areas.  A Cryptologic Cyber Planner provides technical expertise in the design and development of IT operation environments.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Develop strategy of the client/server system and the design architecture to support strategy.
  • Research new technology and advises on purchases for the client in regard to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
  • Develop strategies for conducting studies to estimate the space, computer hardware, software and connection infrastructure resources required on a short and long term basis.
  • Develop models of the computer and computer application environment, identifies and resolves computer operations systems performance problems.
  • Measure system usage by workload type, identifying trends and estimating further resource requirements.
  • May be assigned responsibility for the management of the IT operations function, including associated staff.








Qualifications






Basic Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree plus 8 years relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to an IC mission (e.g. collection, cyber and intelligence analysis) and /or a similar mission in the IC or DoD, and include strategic and/or operational level planning (e.g. joint operations).  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance or a related field is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable.
  • External engagement/collaboration experience (participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, Field assignments and external customer support) is preferred

Target Salary Range






$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
